Chuckie's Story

Meet Chuckie and Margie! Chuckie lives at CDS Monarch’s French Road residence and works at Unistel in the Spice Plant. He is also an active member of CDS Monarch’s Special Olympics team and the Top Fundraiser for The Wolf Foundation’s annual “Strikes for Abilities” bowling event, which supports his team, as well as other unfunded recreational opportunities at CDS Monarch. Margie is Chuckie’s sister, and she too has dedicated herself to volunteering and fundraising for numerous events, including serving as the Committee Chair for the “Strikes for Abilities” bowling event.

Margie decided several years ago that she wanted to do her part to support CDS Monarch to help ensure that the same services Chuckie and his peers were receiving would continue on into the future. “This event means a lot to me, and my brother Chuckie. During his Special Olympics events, I see the excitement on the faces of Chuckie and his teammates; the way they cheer each other on is heartwarming, and as a family member, I know how important these activities are to them.”

Chuckie and Margie continue to dedicate their time and effort to support The Wolf Foundation in its pursuit to provide sustainability for future services. Their message to you? “Volunteer at an event, connect potential donors, or advocate through the Family Advocacy Network (FAN). Together we can make a big difference.”
